"The
best laid plans of mice and men often come to naught!" Murphy's Law kicks in
and most whatever we might plan is subject to falling apart. God's plans are perfect and cannot go wrong. Palm Sunday is the recognition of the beginning of the final stage of God's redemptive plan for humanity. Jesus initiated the event by having His disciples retrieve a colt for him to ride on as he entered Jerusalem. The colt was where it was supposed to be, and the owner responded appropriately, loaning the animal to Jesus. Going with God's plans can sometimes be scary. God has this habit of asking us to do things that take faith, whether it be untying a colt when you don't know the owner, or putting yourself in a situation that could cost you your life. But God's plan is perfect and unfailing. If you had been among the disciples, would you have gone as Jesus instructed? Along the road into Jerusalem, would you have cried hosannas or been concerned the Roman's might get involved if everyone didn't calm down? Would you be willing throw in with God's plan? Are you willing today? Say yes to God's plan for you!
