One
of the great things about having small kids is getting to play games that you
have never heard of before. Take Banopoly for instance. The name on
the box says "Monopoly Junior," but who cares ? Sounds like
more fun the way Ben and Daniel pronounce it. The simple instructions and
large dependency on pictures make it fit for 5 to 8 year-olds. Instead of
having hotels and the like, you place ticket booths at carnival attractions. As simple as "Banopoly" is, being older doesn't necessarily help you win. Believe me, I know from experience! Making the game even more challenging is the fact that Ben and Daniel's rules vary slightly from what is written in the instructions! Sometimes it seems like God has rules that are different than what we always thought. In 2 Chronicles 20, King Jehoshaphat found himself up against a seemingly unbeatable enemy. When he went to God about the situation, God told him that Israel would not have to fight the battle. When the time came to confront the enemy, the choir and band led the army in praise, worship and thanksgiving as they marched toward the enemy. Verse 22 says, "When they began singing and praising, God set ambushes against the enemy." God's rules were not what everyone else thought they would be. Read the Bible and seek God for His way for your life today! In doing so you will experience the blessings and the joy of "playing" life's game God's way!
